HOD Urdu

Urdu inspite of having the recognition of an official language do not enjoy a privileged position in the society. There are various reasons for it and the primary reason is the lack of efforts from the Urdu fraternity itself. We need to take certain important steps in order to sustain this language.
• The first thing we should do is to start official communication via letters, applications, and requests in Urdu language instead of English.
• We should get all official, social, cultural and even celebration cards published in Urdu rather than English.
• Speak to our Officers in Urdu Language while seeking permissions.
These are some minor efforts that we can put into practice in order to keep the spirit of Urdu language alive.
